After announcement NVIDIA has also introduced a mobile version of the GeForce RTX 5060 desktop line of graphics cards. Currently, it is the youngest model among the RTX 50 series of mobile GPUs, although the RTX 5050 is also expected to appear in the future.
The RTX 5060 Laptop graphics card is equipped with a GB206 GPU. Unlike the desktop version with 3840 CUDA cores, the mobile version has 3328 cores — 15% less. Nevertheless, NVIDIA assures that its performance will be comparable to its desktop counterpart.
The official TGP range for the laptop RTX 5060 is 45 to 100 watts. However, some laptop manufacturers have confirmed support for Dynamic Boost technology up to 25W, which raises the maximum TGP to 125W.
All major laptop brands are already working on new models with the RTX 5060 graphics card. According to the company, prices for laptops with RTX 5060 will start at $1099, which is $100 more expensive than the previous generation based on RTX 4060. Sales will start in May, in sync with the desktop version.
