Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge / Wccftech
A short video about the Galaxy S25 Edge, Samsung’s upcoming ultra-thin smartphone, also showed the Google Pixel 9a. The video was quickly removed, but the photos remained.
Insiders say that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in April — it looks like someone got the phone early Wccftech says that the video compares the thickness of the device to the Galaxy Fold 6 and also reveals the technical specifications. Some of the data was known from previous leaks, and some appeared for the first time.
The phone’s model number is SM-937U, which indicates the version for the US market. The S25 Edge offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Compared to the Galaxy Fold 6, the slim Edge seems thicker than its counterpart. Earlier it became known that Samsung is working on two prototypes, and allegedly the company has already chosen a 5.84 mm version, not 6.4 mm.
The thin body was bound to affect the battery. However, the Galaxy S25 Edge will have 4000 mAh battery, unlike previous rumors — as in the basic Galaxy S25. One of the rear cameras will have a resolution of 12 MP, as will the selfie camera.
Website 9to5google also reports that a video of the Galaxy S25 Edge has revealed another unannounced smartphone — Google Pixel 9a. Since both sources have been removed, it’s hard to say whether they were referring to the same video, but at least the links are different. The black device is in line with previously published design leaks. The letter «G» on the back means that this is a real smartphone with the logo on it, not a prototype. There are also distinct side edges that stand out (although this may be just a feature of the lighting).
