According to a Digital Chat Station insider, OnePlus plans to expand its smartphone lineup in December and introduce the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models.
Both smartphones will have a flat 1.5K screen, an optical fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and support for 100W wired charging.
OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6200 mAh battery, and the Pro version will have a 6300 mAh battery. The first model will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro model is likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The devices are expected to run OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.
The Ace 5 is equipped with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module, and a 2MP selfie camera. According to preliminary rumors, the Pro version should receive a periscopic telephoto lens, but its characteristics remain unknown.
It’s also worth noting that OnePlus Ace 5 may be sold internationally as OnePlus 13R, similar to last year when Ace 3 was released under the name OnePlus 12R.
