OnePlus is preparing to present new smartphones Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. On the eve of the presentation, the Chinese regulator TENAA revealed detailed characteristics of the future devices.
This leak finally revealed the chipsets and batteries of both models, which will be the main difference between the base and Pro versions. Other features, such as dimensions, screen, and cameras, will be identical for both devices, as was the case with previous Ace phones.
Both smartphones will have a 6.78-inch display with a 1264p resolution and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The rear panel will feature a triple camera in a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP configuration, and the front camera will have a 16-megapixel sensor.
The base model of the OnePlus Ace 5 will offer 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage. In the case of the Pro version, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will also be available. The dimensions are 161.7×75.8 mm, and the thickness is about 8.1 mm (the Pro version will be slightly thicker).
OnePlus Ace 5 Pro may be one of the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones on the market. The official announcement is expected on December 26. At the same time, the base model of the Ace 5 is expected to be available on the global market under the name OnePlus 13R.
