Remedy Entertainment presented its first multiplayer shooter FBC: Firebreak at the Xbox Partner Preview event.
FBC: Firebreak — is a cooperative first-person shooter for three players set in the mysterious Oldest Building of the Federal Bureau of Control. The game takes place several years after the events of Control.
Players will take on the role of operatives of an elite FBC unit called Firebreak. Their task is to counter a new outbreak of paranormal activity that threatens the Oldest House.
The developers promise that FBC: Firebreak will be accessible for beginners, but at the same time offer deep gameplay. Players will be able to customize their characters’ equipment, including weapons and paranormal abilities.
Although the game is multiplayer, Remedy emphasizes that it is not a service project. The developers plan to regularly update the game with new content, including missions, maps, and story elements.
FBC: Firebreak will be released in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (there is already a page on Steam). The game will be available in Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus subscriptions from the day of release.
