Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus / X
Photos and even video of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have already hit the net, and Galaxy S25 Plus has made its first appearance. But fans of the touch-sensitive camera button shouldn’t get excited just yet.
Leaker @Jukanlosreve showcased on X (now deleted) several photosof the middle one of the upcoming flagships. They reveal the rear camera modules, covered with tape that reads “No photo”. The tape is also visible on the lens of the front camera.
The “Settings” app on the screen confirms that this is indeed the Galaxy S25 Plus (SM-S936U). The letter “U” in the model marking confirms that this smartphone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, not the Exynos 2500 as previously speculated by Geekbench leaks.
Beneath the power button and the “rocker” volume control, there’s an interesting metal section that seems similar to the iPhone 16 Pro’s touch-sensitive “slider”. However, the leaker says that the Galaxy S25 Plus won’t have such a feature, and it’s actually a radio antenna.
The Galaxy S25 Plus is expected to maintain a 120 Hz 1440p screen like its predecessor, with RAM not exceeding 12 GB and battery capacity remaining unchanged. At least, rumors suggest that Samsung doesn’t plan on a price hike.
