Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe: what the next electric cars with improved aerodynamics will look like

Published by Vadym Karpus

Skoda has dropped some sketches showing off the upcoming refresh of its most popular electric vehicles. The Enyaq family is getting a design update that aligns with the Skoda Modern Solid concept.

This includes a new front end with an illuminated Tech-Deck Face, replacing the traditional grille, along with slimmer LED matrix headlights and a new bumper design.

Skoda has added Unique Dark Chrome accents to the hood lettering, lower bumpers, and side skirts. Enyaq will be available in a new exclusive color, Olibo Green. These design innovations give the electric vehicle a more modern look and should also improve its aerodynamics.

This enhanced aerodynamics will benefit the range of both the Enyaq and the Enyaq Coupe. The Enyaq Coupe, with its smoothly sloping roofline, already boasts one of the best aerodynamic profiles in the current Skoda lineup.

The rear of the updated Enyaqs also features Skoda Dark Chrome lettering and the brand’s signature C-shaped tail lights, as well as side skirts in body color.

Skoda has not yet released details on any potential changes to the interior or powertrain options. Current Enyaq models offer a variety of battery sizes and power outputs, with a range of up to 577 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. Prices and specific details about the updated Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will be announced closer to their market launch date.
