HBO accidentally released the final trailer for the second season of the series «The Last of Us» / The Last Of Us ahead of schedule — it has since been removed, but of course, The video is already being shared onlineWe will add the official version when it is released. Compared to previous videosIt gives a little more information about the plot of the sequel and contains an important element of the game that was ignored in the first season.

Among other things, we are shown Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsay) arguing after the traumatic events in the hospital, with a hint of where the story will go from there, and Bella Ramsay’s character encountering an infected person embedded in a wall that seems to breathe spores (in the first season, this part was removed from the narrative and a new origin of the infection was given, but in the second, it seems they decided to go back to the basics).

Several shots were also devoted to Ellie’s new love interest, as well as the infected invasion — and it seems that Jackson may be under attack, which was not in the game (at least as the trailer suggests).

The second season will debut on HBO and Max on April 13, while in Ukraine the series with Ukrainian dubbing will most likely be officially available on Megogo from April 14.

The series «The Last of Us» — is an adaptation of the post-apocalyptic games The Last of Us by Naughty Dog. The first season told the story of smuggler Joel, who is tasked with guiding teenager Ellie through the US regions devastated by a parasitic fungus pandemic, while the sequel will involve another key character in The Last of Us Part 2, Abby (Caitlin Deaver), and will follow only «part» of the game’s plot. Earlier, showrunner Craig Mazin said that to cover the full story «it will take several seasons»as a result of which only seven episodes were allocated for the second one.

The sequel will take place 5 years after the events of the first one. In addition to Abby, it will feature characters such as Dina (Isabela Merced), Jesse (Young Masino), and Isaac (reprising his role from thedubbed on television by Jeffrey Wright). The creators note that they have included deleted material that was once considered for the game (some of which was first presented in the updated Part II edition); several characters who were not in the games will also appear: Catherine O’Hara among them, as well as some yet to be revealed roles.
