Since the events take place «before», the new emotions introduced in «Inside Out 2» will not be present in the series — the emotions from the first movie (at least Joy, Anger and Disgust) will appear instead. In general, the concept of the series is to create a kind of parody of the entertainment industry: there will be characters like Paula (an experienced studio producer) and Xeni (a young, arrogant director who wants to impose her vision on the department).
Dream Productions will consist of four episodes and will debut on Disney+ on December 11.
