Over the weekend, a bunch of conceptual images of the upcoming «Avengers» — movie appeared on the web, and, in addition to The return of Robert Downey Jr. in a new roleThey reveal some of the other key MCU characters that will appear in the upcoming Marvel crossover.
The images, originally posted by designer Mashko Rizvi, have now been removed, but can something disappear from the Internet forever? So, get ready for spoilers or close the article to avoid them — we will tell you everything.
The movie «Avengers: Doomsday» will introduce viewers to the World of Warcraft, which was formed after the collapse of different realities and is led by Dr. Doom (Downey Jr.). In this wilderness, among others, Bruce Banner/Hulk and Jennifer Walters/Hulk Woman (Mark Ruffalo and Tatiana Maslany) can be seen, and next to Bruce, a young green monster can be seen, who may be his son Skaar.
Elsewhere, an untitled bar shows a group of young avengers including Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), Wiccan (Joe Locke), an unconfirmed Speed, who accompanies Star-Lord (Chris Pratt returns to the MCU after Guardians of the Galaxy) and Wong (Benedict Wong). Eagle-eyed fans of «X-Men» also immediately spotted Kick-Ass.
Actually, the images show Doom himself on the throne, but with an interesting company that is, at first glance, hard to identify. Games Radar suggests that there is Elena Romanoff (Florence Pugh), Doom’s wife (potentially Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm) and someone who resembles Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch, who previously confirmed that he will appear in two upcoming Avengers films).
The art also gives a few hints about Marvel’s plans for other projects: one of the fragments shows a new version of the Black Panther, signaling plans to bring T’Challa from another reality to the one we know; and there is an image of Peter Quill in the company of Vision (Paul Bettany), indicating that they will somehow meet in the same project.
As a reminder, Marvel has planned two new Avengers films at once and, in addition to «Doomsday», will release a direct sequel called «Secret Wars» — both films directed by the Russo brothers («Avengers: Infinity War» and «Avengers: Endgame») based on scripts by MCU veteran Stephen McFeely. Even before the start of filming (probably this month) films have received official release dates: «Judgment Day» will debut in theaters on May 1, 2026, while «The Secret Wars» will be released exactly one year later.
