Director Guy Ritchie will start shooting his new film «The Wife and the Dog» in February 2025 in the UK. The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins.
The creators keep the plot secret, but note that the film will return to the colorful world of the British aristocracy, which Ritchie has already explored in the film and TV series «Gentlemen».
The script was written by Ritchie himself, who will also produce alongside longtime partner Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg. Teddy Schwartzman and Michael Heimler are executive producing.
