Dogequest website published a map of the United States with a search for people involved in DOGE and Tesla (including car owners). The database contains names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
The creators of the site claim that they will delete the data if a person proves that they have sold their Tesla. The map also contains the addresses of Tesla dealerships, the location of Tesla charging stations, and personal information of employees of the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE).
Resource 404 Media confirmed that at least some of the people in the database are indeed Tesla owners, supporters of the company or Musk personally, but it is not known for sure whether all of the people in the database are. The addresses of several Tesla dealerships also turned out to be correct. However, a check by the publication revealed that some areas on the map do not correspond to the real ones. The site describes its purpose rather ironically:
«DOGEQUEST — is the ultimate hub for Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE) enthusiasts! Our innovative platform allows users to explore an interactive map of DOGE attractions. Using our advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, DOGEQUEST goes one step further and connects like-minded Tesla owners with each other, creating an active community through shared contact information.
Is DOGEQUEST a protest platform?
If you’re looking for a Tesla to unleash your artistic talent with spray paint, just go outside — no map required! At DOGEQUEST, we believe in empowering creative protest that you can do from the comfort of your own home».
The site also implicitly offers to make mirrors of it and distribute its content, for which it provides simple instructions. The authors promise to remove from the database those who provide evidence of the sale of their Tesla.
Obviously, Dogequest can scare some electric car owners against the backdrop of Tesla damage actions and protests against Elon Musk. The Tesla Takedown protest campaign takes place every weekend in different US cities Dealerships, cars and Tesla charging stations are also being vandalized Owners of Cybertrucks and other Teslas often document insults and the damage they receive — some even disguise their cars as other brands.
Tesla’s stock price fell by 44% after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, and on Monday it dropped by almost 5%. Last week Donald Trump with Elon Musk advertised Tesla cars in front of the White House. He threatened the vandals with responsibility and called them internal terrorists.
