Movie trailer «28 years later»released a few days ago, puzzled many fans because the zombie shown in one of the frames of the video looked very much like the character of Killian Murphy from the original 2002 Danny Boyle film.
Now it turned out that Jim was not actually infected with the «rage virus», but a very similar zombie was played by British art dealer Angus Neill, the publication reports World of Reel.
According to The Guardian, Neill, in addition to playing cameo roles in movies, also works as a model, and his waist is only 72 cm. His thinness (primarily his expressive cheekbones) caused confusion among fans, but perhaps the filmmakers expected this effect.
«Danny told me he had always thought of me for the role», — said Neill. «We met and talked and I agreed to do it».
At the same time, Murphy himself, despite not being mentioned on the posters of «28 Years Later», will appear in the film — he has been spotted on the set many times, and the authors are unlikely to neglect such an important cameo for fans. Moreover, he will have a full-fledged role in the second part of the film, which is already being worked on by director Nia da Costa (and there will be three parts in total, by the way)
