The story of the series Silo makes it not too bright, and the second season was dimmer than the previous one. Showrunner Graham Yost says that there will be more street in the third.
Considering the plot arcs laid out in the second season, Graham Yost promises in an interview with TV Line that the characters and viewers will see the street more often than before. Juliette will get a lot of what humanity has been missing all these years.
“Yes, we will be on the street, we will be in the world, and there will be sunshine,” – assured the showrunner.
Executive producer and screenwriter Fred Golan added: “We will make every effort to make the world we see outside beautiful, to remind us of what was lost.”
So far, the brief appearances of the show’s characters on the street were mostly associated with suffering and death. Much of the show was accompanied by lamps and torches so that the viewers could see something, and the filming crew — to film. Probably, this time too, one should not be too happy, as Yost notes that the plot will return to Bunker 17: “And remember, they have a very big problem with electricity, so they don’t have much light.”
Graham Yost acknowledges that the series Silo may seem too dark. But he asks to understand this, as the lighting is dictated by the plot.
