Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank 4900 mAh / Xiaomi
Xiaomi has dropped a gadget in an unusual form factor. At first glance at the picture, you might think it’s a smartphone.
But actually, it’s the compact and thin Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank 4900 mAh. It was launched alongside the global Redmi Note 14 smartphones. Though not a smartphone, this power bank can be a perfect complement due to its compactness.
The Ultra Slim Power Bank boasts a capacity of 4900 mAh. It weighs just 93 g and measures 113 x 53 x 10 mm — a bit thicker, but smaller than modern phones. The maximum charging power is 20W (18W for fast charging). The device is compatible with both Android and iPhone.
It features a USB Type-C port that functions as both an input and an output, allowing the power bank itself to be charged. It supports a wide range of charging protocols including PD3.0, PPS, QC3.5, AFC, and FCP for enhanced compatibility.
Xiaomi has equipped the external battery with 12 built-in levels of protection against overcharging, overheating, and short circuiting. The power bank includes a case for transportation and additional protection. It charges in about one and a half hours with a 33W charger. There’s talk of crowdfunding, a discount for early buyers, and a launch on December 13, but the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank 4900 mAh seems to already be available on Aliexpress for just over 1000 UAH.
