The Toyota bZ3C mid-size crossover is expected to be released in early 2025. Knowledgeable sources claim that this car will be the smartest FAW Toyota model, thanks to advanced intelligent driving and an innovative cockpit.

The car was first shown at the Beijing Motor Show. Its design is very similar to the bZ Sport Crossover concept presented a year earlier at the Shanghai Motor Show. This is a five-seater crossover with dimensions of 4780x1866x1510 mm (length, width, height) and a wheelbase of 2880 mm.

The model offers eight exterior design options thanks to five body colors: black, white, gray, orange and red. Three of them are also available in a two-tone version with a black area above the window line. Inside, the trim can be done in red, black or white (applied to the seats and inserts), while the top of the dashboard and steering wheel remain black.

The main element of the interior is the 15.6-inch screen of the infotainment system, which supports more than 200 third-party applications. For the first time in its class, the car is equipped with a driver and passenger monitoring system that includes AI face recognition, in-cabin video calls, child reminders, and gesture and voice control with a virtual assistant. The dashboard is located far below the windshield, which means there is no projection display.

The front seats can be reclined completely horizontally, creating a place to sleep together with the second row. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 463 liters.

The Toyota bZ3C electric car is equipped with a lidar above the windshield and has high-level «smart» driving functionality. The system is based on a large-scale AI model that provides city driving, high-speed driving, and automatic parking functions.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the car is equipped with a 200 kW TZ200XS003 electric motor. The batteries are produced by BYD’s FinDreams subsidiary using Blade lithium-iron-phosphate batteries. There are two versions of the car: with a range of 550 km and 630 km according to the CLTC testing system.
