TOYOTA RAV4 remains the leader: October sales of hybrid cars in Ukraine

In October 2024, 1.9 thousand hybrid passenger cars (mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids) switched to Ukrainian license plates. This is by 7% more than in the same period of the previous year.

In most cases, Ukrainians prefer new hybrid cars. Such cars account for 63% of the total. For comparison, in October 2023, this figure was 59%.

The TOYOTA RAV4 remains the undisputed leader among new hybrid cars, with sales several times higher than those of its closest competitors.

The most popular new hybrid cars:

1. TOYOTA RAV4 – 261 units;
2. NISSAN Qashqai – 82 units;
3. TOYOTA Yaris Cross – 79 units.

Among the imported used cars with hybrid powertrains, the FORD Fusion US is the top seller. However, its advantage is no longer as obvious as that of the TOYOTA RAV4 in the new car segment.

The most popular used hybrid cars:

1. FORD Fusion US – 54 units;
2. TOYOTA Prius – 46 units;
3. TOYOTA RAV4 – 38 units.
