Updated Opel Mokka Electric 2025: less engine choice and reduced price

Published by Vadym Karpus

Opel has announced an updated Mokka Electric electric car for the 2025 model year. The car received an updated exterior and interior, but fewer options for choosing a powertrain.

Previously, the Opel Mokka Electric was offered in two configurations: a 50 kWh battery with a 136 hp (100 kW) engine and a 54 kWh battery with a 156 hp (115 kW) engine. Now only the latter is left. In 2025, buyers will receive only the latter configuration – with a 115 kW engine and a 54 kWh battery.

The good news is that the manufacturer has reduced the price of the electric vehicle. The updated Mokka Electric 2025 model year costs €36740. This is €7980 less than the same configuration of the previous year. However, it is €4060 more than the older base model.

Due to the recent change in the Stellantis strategy, the Opel Mokka’s equipment options have also been reduced. While the Elegance and GS offered a less powerful engine and the Ultimate package had a 115 kW engine, the Mokka is now only available in Edition and GS trim levels. There are no technical changes to the powertrain.

In addition to subtle design changes, there are several other significant interior updates. The steering wheel now features a flat bottom, the seats are upholstered with new recycled fabric, and the center console and its display have been updated. Owners will have a 10-inch driver display and a large center screen with the latest version of infotainment software.
