Who will play in the new «Avengers»? Marvel unveils 25+ actors in strange 5-hour teaser

Yesterday, Marvel launched a livestream dedicated to the upcoming films «Avengers: Doomsday» and «Avengers: Secret Wars», which both pleased and annoyed fans.

In the 5-hour (!) video, the studio occasionally showed chairs with the names of the actors who will accompany Robert Downey Jr. in the new film by the Russo brothers. There are 26 of them in total, featuring characters from the now-defunct «X-Men» universe from 20th Century Fox and future stars of the «Fantastic Four: The First Steps» inclusive.

The return of Tenoch Huerta, who played Neymor in «Black Panther: Wakanda Forever», was one of the big surprises. The actor’s work with Marvel was in question after he was accused of sexual harassment, but as we can see, they remained on good terms — which is more than can be said about ex-Kang Jonathan Majorswhose accusations actually prompted the MCU to produce a new version of the Avengers movies.

The final shot of the teaser was the appearance of Robert Downey Jr. who this time took on the role of of the main villain Dr. Doom.

The movie «Avengers: Day of Judgment» will be released on May 1, 2026, and «Secret Wars» is scheduled for May 7, 2027.
