The official presentation of the new Xiaomi 15 smartphone is expected in just a few days, but some of the device’s features are already known. Thus, this model will receive a new mobile processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Eliteannounced the day before. And even before the actual release, Xiaomi 15 has already been tested in Geekbench.
The results were spotted in the Geekbench 6.3.0 online database. As you can see in the screenshot, the device achieved an impressive single-core score of 3180 and a multi-core score of 10058. For comparison, the predecessor Xiaomi 14 demonstrates results at the level of 2148 and 6685 points, respectively.
The tested Xiaomi 15 smartphone has 16 GB of RAM. It is unclear whether this will be the only option or whether others will be offered after the phone’s launch. This prototype runs Android 15, the version that Google released on its Pixel devices just last week. However, this does not necessarily mean that the finalized release version of the Xiaomi 15 will run Android 15 from day one.
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro models will be the first to be released simultaneously, with a presentation later this month. The Ultra version will be presented at a different location. Please note that the 15 and 15 Pro will initially be sold only in China. Xiaomi 15 should get a global release in the future.
