Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 4. It is a direct successor to the Turbo 3 model, which debuted in April last year.
The new Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone features a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. Under the hood is a new processor MediaTek Dimensity 8400but with the Dimensity 8400-Ultra brand. The chipset is complemented by LPDDR5X RAM of up to 16 GB and built-in storage of up to 512 GB.
The novelty has a glass back panel and a dual camera on it. The main module is based on a 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor and is complemented by an optical image stabilization system. The device also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. A 20-megapixel camera for self-portraits is located in the round hole of the display.
The battery has a capacity of 6550 mAh and supports 90W fast charging. An infrared emitter and IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and moisture protection are also reported. Operating system: HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Initially, the new product will go on sale in China. It is expected that soon this smartphone will also appear in international markets, but under the name Poco X7 Pro.
