The Redmi K80 has a display with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of the optical one in its predecessors. As before, it’s a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 and 12-bit color (HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid support). Peak brightness reaches 3200 nits. The screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is 8% more efficient than its predecessor.

The main camera is a 50 MP camera with an OmniVision OVX8000 1/1.55″ sensor and an f/1.6 lens with optical stabilization. The smartphone can shoot 8K video at 24 frames per second, 4K and 1080p video at up to 60 fps. Ultra-wide-angle camera — budget 8 MP, macro — 2 MP. There is no telephoto lens, there is a 20 MP front camera.

Both K80s have a new processor cooling system — a dual-circuit evaporation chamber. IP68 dust and water protection and Gorilla Glass 7i glass have been added. 5G, Wi-Fi 7 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.4 are available. Redmi K80 has dimensions of 160.3 x 75 x 8.1 mm and weighs 206 g.

The Redmi K80 is available in four colors and five LPDDR5X/UFS 4.0 memory configurations: 12/256GB for ~$345, 16/256GB for ~$370, 12/512GB for ~$400, 16/512GB for ~$440, and 16GB/1TB for ~$495.
