A month ago, we told you about a table clock with wireless charging Gelius Time Bridge 2. Today, we’ll talk about another similar device from the same brand called Gelius Union. It’s a stylish, compact, and sophisticated charger that can charge three gadgets simultaneously wirelessly. We have been using it for several weeks and are ready to draw conclusions.

Gelius Union comes in a compact white box.
Inside we see the wireless charger itself folded up, a power supply, a USB-C to USB-C cable, documentation, and a warranty.
Gelius Union — is a charger in the form of a holder-cradle. It has two panels and a folding mechanism. The case is made of a metal frame and tempered glass. The device is black, but there are deliberate transparent inserts that show «insides».
The wireless charger is stirred in the shape of the letter L. The maximum deployment angle is 180 degrees. Dimensions of the model are 70×130×10 mm. Weight — 197 grams.
On the bottom panel, we see two round charging spots: the first is recessed for watches, the second with an induction coil for headphones or smartphones. Next, we see a transparent part of the case and two indicators. They light up blue when both charging spots are occupied.
On the front panel, there is a large round charging platform with an induction coil and magnets around it. It is designed to charge the Apple iPhone 12 and models of this series above. They are magnetized to the circle in horizontal or vertical positions. In the first case, the iPhones go into standby mode and display the date, time, and calendar.
For users of Android devices, there is a folding stand below. And there were also cases with round magnets on sale, copying similar ones from Apple. Under the folding stand we see the inscription Gelius.
At the bottom of the bottom, we made a fully rubberized surface to prevent the device from slipping on the table.
The cable is a meter long and unbraided. The power supply is 20 W and also has a stylish translucent design, where you can see part of its «insides».
Gelius Union supports Qi and MagSafe wireless charging technologies. This means that the device can charge smartphones, smartwatches, and TWS headphones without a cable. For example, iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods or similar Android devices.
Three devices can be charged simultaneously. It can be a smartphone, a watch, and headphones, or two smartphones and a watch.
The wrist gadget charges at 3 W. The circle with the induction coil next to it supports 5 W charging and charges both wireless headphones and smartphones. The main round platform with magnets has a power of 15 W. However, depending on the phone model and the wireless charging feature, the power can be 10, 7.5, or 5 W.
It is claimed that the device automatically identifies the type of connected gadget. Because of this, it independently sets the power mode for a particular device. Gelius Union is also protected against short circuits, overvoltage and undervoltage, overcharging, and overcurrent.
After a few weeks of using Gelius Union, I definitely have a pleasant impression of this device. I’ll tell you about the negative right away because it’s the only one and relatively minor, in my opinion. The glossy surface of the tempered glass case collects fingerprints and dust incredibly quickly. Therefore, the charger needs to be wiped literally every day, otherwise every little speck of dust is visible on its mirror surface.
Otherwise, I liked the Gelius Union. It is a compact and, most importantly, foldable device, so it can be used at home or in the office, as well as taken with you on trips or business trips. It has a robust metal and glass body and a modern, stylish design. It’s cool that they made «windows» that show «insides» of the gadget.
I liked that the kit comes with a stylish power supply in the same design and with a USB-C port. It’s also good that the device is versatile and fits many iOS and Android gadgets.
My TWS headphones charged in a few hours, just like my smartphone. Yes, it’s a long time, but it’s not noticeable because it’s like you put the devices on a stand and work, and it’s still charging. It’s also cool that the third charging circuit can be used not only for headphones but also for smartphones. Of course, the 5-watt output is slow, but as a bonus, if you need to charge two phones and have time for it, you have a convenient option.
Gelius Union sells for a price from 1699 UAH. In my opinion, this is a good price tag, but there are models among competitors that are slightly cheaper but have slightly worse performance. However, there are also those that are sold at a much higher price. For comparison, we chose stand models that also support wireless charging of three devices simultaneously. It is immediately apparent that the main advantage of Gelius Union is its compact folding metal and glass case, and the presence of a power supply unit in the kit because it turns out that not everyone has one.
Among the competitors worthy of attention Proove Energy Fold 3 in 1, Canyon CNS-WCS304B and USAMS US-CD181. There are also Grand-X WCH-15 and Samsung EP-P6300.
