During the Tudor dissolution of the monasteries, Thomas Cromwell sends Matthew Shardlake to investigate the mysterious death of a commissioner in the remote town of Scarnsey.
The series is based on a series of historical detective novels by «Shardlake» C.J. Sansom, set during the reign of Henry VIII in the 16th century. The titular role in this adaptation went to British actor Arthur Hughes, and Sean Bean played the role of Thomas Cromwell. We also note the presence in the cast of Anthony Boyle, who has recently been appearing on small screens («Masters of the Air», «Manhunt»).

A Jewish prisoner of the Auschwitz concentration camp, Lale Sokolov, is given a job as a tattoo artist during World War II. His duties include applying identification numbers to the arms of prisoners arriving at the camp.
The plot of this historical drama is based on the novel of the same name by Australian writer and screenwriter Heather Morris, published in 2018 (in Ukraine it was released a year later by «Knigolav»). The two versions of the real-life character Lale Sokolov, younger and older, were played by Jonah Hauer-King and Harvey Keitel, respectively. In addition to them, the series will also feature Melanie Lynskey, whom you may have previously seen in the sitcom «Two and a Half Men» and the hit HBO series «The Last of Us».

Created by David E. Kelley and directed by Regina King and Thomas Schlamme, based on the novel of the same name by Tom Wolfe, this drama series consists of six episodes and will be released on Netflix on May 2. Jeff Daniels and Diane Lane star in the lead roles.

The plot revolves around two warriors — Sister of the Night Morgan Elsbeth, who appeared in last year’s «Asoci»and former Jedi Barriss Offee. The series consists of six short episodes in the traditional animation style of the animated series directed by Dave Filoni — «The Clone Wars» and «The Rejected Batch». The project is a successor to the anthology «Tales of the Jedi», published in 2022.

Chicago-based physicist Jason Dessen finds himself in an alternate version of his life. In order to return to his family, he has to go through a series of parallel realities, encountering another version of himself.
The series was created by Blake Crouch based on his 2016 novel of the same name, and it’s usually a good sign when the author of an original work works on an adaptation. The main roles are played by Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly.
It’s worth noting that this is the second time in recent months that the Apple TV+ service has addressed the topic of the multiverse, «Constellation» with Noomi Rapace was rather a disappointment. Let’s hope that the new project will turn out to be better than its predecessor and will really please fans of quality science fiction.

One of the founders of the Black Panther Party, Huey Percy Newton, is wanted by the FBI. In his attempt to escape to Cuba, he finds an unexpected ally in Hollywood producer Burt Schneider.
Developed by Jim Hackett and based on an article of the same name by American journalist Joshua Bierman in Playboy magazine published in 2012, the series will consist of six episodes and will be released on Apple TV+ on May 17.

Six years after the events of the animated series «Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous» (2020—2022), Darius Bowman and his friends reunite to uncover a terrible conspiracy. The new animated series will also become part of the cult paleontological film franchise «Jurassic Park», whose last feature film («Dominion»), however, turned out to be quite bulky and clumsy, like a brachiosaurus.

Vincent, an ordinary puppeteer and creator of a popular children’s TV show, faces a great tragedy when his nine-year-old son Edgar disappears one day on his way to school. The grieving father finds solace in his «friendship» with the imaginary monster Eric from his son’s drawings, who seems to live under the missing child’s bed. However, Vincent’s increasingly destructive behavior alienates him from those around him.
The new British series starring Benedict Cumberbatch — sounds promising. It will consist of six episodes and will be available on Netflix on May 30.
