S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 received patch 1.5.2 — no more enchanted doors to the Shevchenko Center

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has received another patch 1.5.2, which fixed several bugs. In particular, one of them concerns the Shevchenko center

The main fix is that stalkers will finally be able to enter the center normally: no more doors that close by themselves. The update also fixes two random crashes that could occur during the game. The team thanked the community for active bug reports and urged them to continue reporting anomalies – technical support is working.

It should be noted that in the previous update, GSC Game World fixed the behavior of NPCs and problems in missions. Even earlier, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 received another patch, which significantly updated the A-Life system, improved artificial intelligence and added the ability to collect loot from mutants.

Most recently, GSC hinted at a more hardcore mode, but there are many questions about its implementation. The developers are currently focused on porting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to the PS5. While they didn’t plan on porting the game to the console, it seems they’ve decided to make some extra money. They announced the change in plans shortly after they made mod support official, which would require a terabyte SSD.
