«Sinners» received «A» on CinemaScore — the highest score for a horror movie in the 47 years of the rating

As for the box office, «Sinners» also had a pretty good start at the box office: in the US, the movie outperformed the hit Minecraft with $45.6 million and raised another $15 million abroad. Warner Bros. spent about $90 million on the film’s production, so despite the high estimates, profitability is still in question.
