OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro is sold in the company’s classic white and silver box.

Inside we can see the headphones with a case, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a set of interchangeable ear cushions, a manual, and a warranty.
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro design and ergonomics
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro — in-ear fully wireless headphones. They have a short leg and an ergonomic shape. The body is made of glossy plastic. The headphones have L and R marks, three microphone holes, a touch panel, and charging connectors.

The case is already made of matte plastic, it has an oval shape with some points. On the front panel we can see the OPPO inscription and a charging indicator. On the bottom is a USB-C port and a reset button. There is nothing on the back of the case.

Each headphone weighs 4.4 grams, and the case weighs 47 grams. Dimensions of the earbud — 9.90×20.30×23.87 mm, case — 66.60×51.24×24.83 mm. The case lid is easy to open and close with one hand. It wobbles a bit, but I see this in any similar cases, so it’s probably normal.
At the review, OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro were in white color. The headphones and case show no dust or any signs of use at all. But this model is also available in black and light green colors, and in black, perhaps, something will be visible.
Features of OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro
The wireless headphones are equipped with 12.4 mm titanium drivers. The declared range is 20~20 KHz, and the driver sensitivity is 112 ± 3 dB. Popular AAC, SBC and LHDC 5.0 codecs are available. The sound delay is only 47 ms.
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro received IP55 moisture protection. This means that they are protected from sweat and rain, but they should not be immersed in water. But this only applies to the headphones, not the case.
Connection and control
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro supports the latest Bluetooth 5.4 wireless protocol. The headphones can connect to two devices at the same time. The connection itself is very simple, because there is support for Google Fast Pair — open the case lid and a window appears on the gadget’s screen next to it, offering to connect the headphones to it.
Double- and triple-clicking on the OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro touch area switches the next and previous tracks, respectively. Long pressing — activates the noise canceling mode.
Like other headphones of the company, OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro works with the proprietary HeyMelody application. Nothing has changed since the last time, so it’s the same convenient and modern program with easy navigation and many functions.
In HeyMelody, you can configure noise reduction modes (four of them), activate the ability to connect with two devices, turn on the game mode with minimal signal delay, turn the equalizer and select one of four sound presets. You can also boost the bass (I was fine without it, but with the amplification, I think they are already very loud), and so on.

OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro sound and microphone
The OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro sounds like it’s worth the money. Of course, this is not the best sound in the world because our segment is medium, but it’s a very decent level of quality for it. The bass is there, it’s soft, and there’s enough of it by standard, but as I said above, you can still add it through the app (Bass Boost mode). I also liked the sound detail, when you can literally hear every instrument, and the wide stage.
The headphones also surprise me with the quality of voice recording and transmission. Of course, as for TWS headphones. The three microphones provide excellent voice pickup and muffle background noise. True, the latter adds a bit of roboticism, but it almost does not affect the overall decent voice quality.
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro battery life
Each OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro earbud has a built-in 58 mAh battery. The case is equipped with a 440 mAh battery. The declared battery life on a single charge is 12(!) hours. This is without noise cancellation and at 50% volume, but even so, the figure is impressive. With ANC mode, 5.5 hours of operation are promised. In the first case, we have 44 hours of operation with the case, and 20 hours with noise-canceling.
The fully wireless headphones support fast charging. In 10 minutes at the outlet, they promise 4 hours of listening to music without ANC. Total charging of the headphones and case takes an hour and a half. The wireless charging functions did not disappoint.
In practice, I got more than both promised figures because I usually listen to music in the background at about 20-30% volume. I was surprised when the headphones didn’t die for more than ten hours because during the tests and before writing the review I deliberately don’t read anything about the gadget. The headphones lasted 13.5 hours, but I had to test them after work because, of course, I don’t spend that much time in them during the day. In fact, one charge is enough for two days of listening to music for 6-7 hours. And that’s cool. In ANC mode at a volume of 20-30%, they lasted for 6.5 hours, and this is also a great indicator.
User experience
The overall impression of OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro is pleasant. Their design is already standard for many modern TWS headphones, and in general, their shape, size and color are mostly tasteful. As for ergonomics, these are an average option for my ears. That is, they don’t fall out with every movement and even passed the «chew test», but at the same time, I had to adjust them quite often while playing sports.
Again, I emphasize that this applies to my ears, and your situation may be different, both for better and for worse, but the overall ergonomics of the headphones are good. And in-ear models definitely hold in your ears much better than any earbuds.
The touch panel is small and not too sensitive, so I only touched it once or twice by mistake. So, there were a minimum of phantom taps, and my impressions were positive.
I was surprised by the decent sound quality, with detail and soft bass. Not that I expected anything bad from OPPO. On the contrary, they have great gadgets, but sometimes with an inflated price tag. But here both the price and the sound quality are good.
Also, the microphone turned out to be very cool for its segment. Of course, it’s mediocre sound for full-size headsets with larger microphones, but for TWS, it’s fine for voice transmission.

Price and competitors
OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro is sold at a price of UAH 3199. But in most large networks, their price tag is UAH 3999. Even in this case, we have the middle class mentioned above, although there is a lot of competition among in-channel models.
For example, there are last year’s OPPO Enco Air3 Pro. Pay attention toSoundcore Liberty 4 NC and on Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. There are also Huawei FreeBuds 5i, Nothing Ear (1), Redmi Buds 5 Pro and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. And you can also add here JBL Tune Beam.
