Elon Musk says he is among the world’s top 20 Diablo 4 players (and even provides proof)

Musk was also once one of the best Quake players.

Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and CEO of X, is a well-known fan of Diablo 4. He doesn’t shy away from taking on the game’s toughest challenges, such as The Artificer’s Pit dungeon.

During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Musk delved into his gaming hobby and surprised Rogan with his skills. During the conversation, Musk revealed that he is among the top 20 Diablo 4 players in the world. On the website Helltides.com, which publishes a ranking of players compiled by the community, Elon Musk can be seen in 19th place with a score of 2:45. Despite his workload, the CEO manages to find time for serious grinding in the game.

«Only two Americans made it to the top 20, and I’m one of them,” Musk explained. He also spoke about the benefits of gaming as a hobby and admitted that playing games on «extreme difficulties» has a calming effect on him.

Musk published posted a video of his record-breaking run in The Artificer’s Pit on the social network X (Twitter) as proof of his achievement. He initially shared it via his gaming account with the nickname cyb3rgam3r420. It is worth noting that Musk uses the build Quill Volley Spiritborn, which can cause hundreds of trillions of damage due to an unfixed bug.

Later in the episode, Musk mentioned Quake and said that he was «one of the best players in the country» when he was a student. Rogan himself admitted that he was also obsessed with Quake and even built his own computer to play it.
