S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World shows excellent sales results after its release on November 20. According to Video Game Insights, the game has sold 1.4 million copies (GSC reported million) on the Steam platform in the first five days alone.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is performing particularly well in the United States, accounting for 22% of total sales. Ukraine ranks second with a 16% share. Germany and China each account for 7% of the total sales distribution.
The maximum number of simultaneous players on Steam has reached 121,000. The average time spent in the game is — 7.6 hours. Although the game retains 78% of positive reviews on Steamplayer reviews indicate that technical problems at the start somewhat affected the overall perception.
The anticipation for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was already evident even before the release, with approximately 400,000 new users adding the game to their wishlist a month before the release. The game particularly resonates with players who are passionate about similar projects, showing significant overlap with the audience of games like The Forever Winter, Witchfire, and Incursion Red River.
