Realme has held a global presentation of the Realme 14 Pro series of smartphones. Along with the previously announced Realme 14 Pro+, the company also presented the 14 Pro with a lower price, but without a periscopic camera and a less powerful chipset.
A notable design feature of the new products is the Pearl White option, which responds to temperature changes. The 14 Pro series is the first in the world to change color as the panel cools, going from white to blue when the temperature drops below 16 degrees Celsius.
The Realme 14 Pro+ features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the 14 Pro has a 6.77-inch panel. Both devices offer refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and 1080p+ resolution. They have a fingerprint scanner under the display.
The key difference between the Realme 14 Pro+ and 14 Pro is their chipsets: the 14 Pro+ version is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, while the standard version uses the Dimensity 7300, which has slightly older CPU cores.
The Realme 14 Pro+ camera features a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX 896 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Also available is a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto module with a 1/2-inch IMX882 sensor, 3x optical zoom (120x SuperZoom) and optical image stabilization. To improve image quality, Realme has implemented the Ultra Clarity 2.0 AI function. It reduces blur, minimizes noise in 20x images, and demonstrates crisp ultra-high-resolution effects at 60x magnification. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. Complementing the camera is a triple LED flash called MagicGlow. Each LED has a different color temperature, which, in combination with the camera, allows you to get more natural lighting in your pictures. The front camera is 32-megapixel.
The regular version of the Realme 14 Pro lacks a periscopic telephoto module, and the resolution of the front camera is reduced to 16 megapixels. However, the camera unit looks like a triple one.
Both Realme 14 Pro series smartphones are equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, which is 15% larger and offers 20% more battery life compared to previous models. It supports fast wired charging with up to 80W (45W for the regular Pro). Realme guarantees to retain 80% of the battery capacity even after four years of use, which equates to 1600 full charge cycles.
The phones come with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, and they have 360-degree NFC (depending on the market).
The 14 Pro series of smartphones is launching internationally with prices starting at $265 for the base model Realme 14 Pro 8/128GB and $325 for the Realme 14 Pro+ in the same memory configuration.
