MSI presented several ready-made gaming desktops with artificial intelligence at CES 2025. They are available in the MEG, Aegis, Vision, and Codex lines.
MSI has chosen the latest processor solutions from Intel and AMD. However, most of the systems presented are not advanced enough to have NVIDIA RTX 50 Blackwell series. The only exception is the second generation of the MEG VISION X AI gaming desktop PC. The specific model of the GPU was not mentioned, but we can safely assume that it will be a custom MSI GeForce RTX 5090 card.
The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (Arrow Lake-S) processor is used in all MEG VISION X AI 2nd configurations. MSI did not disclose the price. Customers are encouraged to upgrade the hardware in the future – the datasheet states that the internal components are easily accessible and easy to upgrade.
Another interesting feature of MSI MEG VISION X AI 2nd is the touch interface that occupies most of the front panel. It shows statistics on component usage and offers AI functions to control system parameters.
The MSI Aegis RS AI 2 is a high-end system that can be configured with a Core Ultra 9 285K processor. The plate shows a selection of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 (Ada Lovelace) GPUs up to RTX 4090. Next to it was the Vision RS White 2nd model.
The information on the plate indicates that its best configuration is limited to a Core Ultra 7 265K processor and a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU.
The Codex Z2D AI Gaming Desktop is based on the latest AMD Ryzen 8000F series of processors. The best MSI configuration is limited to Ryzen 7 8700F and GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card.
