Ryan Coogler’s new movie «Sinners» has all the chances repeat the success «Nosferatu»as the best horror of the year, at least according to the first estimates and reviews. At the moment, the movie has a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes (based on 37 reviews) and 83/100 on Metacritic (based on 16 reviews).
The story of «Sinners» takes place in the 1930s in the southern United States, during the era of «Jim Crow laws»

The film, which cost $100 million to make and was shot on 65mm, is packed with talent both on and off camera — music composed by Ludwig Jóransson («Oppenheimer») and cinematography by Autumn Durald Arkapau («Black Panther»). Jordan leads a cast that includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, and newcomer Miles Caton.
«Sinners» — is Ryan Coogler’s fourth collaboration with Michael B. Jordan. It is also important that the director himself got a chance to demonstrate his talents without the restrictions he had with «Black Panther» Marvel. The film will be released in Ukrainian cinemas on April 17.
