Sony has launched a 24-hour marathon to watch Until Dawn — without sleep, smartphones, or trips to the bathroom

Sony’s special contest dedicated to the release of Until Dawn starts today, with the main task being to watch the film all night long, without sleep, smartphones, or even going to the bathroom.

The Until Dawn marathon is spread across 8 US cities — Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Washington, Denver, Atlanta, and Miami, and includes prizes for those who literally make it to dawn. The main conditions are as follows — participants must stay up all night (from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and watch the movie on repeat in designated theaters, with disqualification for phone use, bathroom breaks, or naps.

The prizes were not mentioned in the official announcement, but some media outlets writeThe company says that it is about money certificates in the amount of up to $5,000.

Until Dawn — is an adaptation of the 2015 PlayStation Studios video game of the same name, which will take place in the same universe but will involve new characters played by Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Yoo Gi-Yen, Odesa Aizawl, Maya Mitchell, and Belmont Cameli (the exception will be Peter Stormare, who will return to the role of Dr. Hill and will become a kind of link between the movie and the game).
