Days Gone Remastered will be released this spring on Playstation 5 and PC in digital format. The developers announced three new modes, improved textures, shadows, lighting, and support for Tempest 3D Audio and VRR.
The remaster offers DualSense support and new features: high contrast, game speed, interface voice acting, controller reconfiguration and field of view slider, and «much more». The updated photo mode will allow you to customize the time of day, a three-point lighting system, and new logos.
Players are offered three new game modes:
- Horde Assault will challenge you to survive against the undead to improve your record.
- The Permadeath mode offers a challenge to the player: one death and you start over.
- Speedrun will allow you to complete the campaign as quickly as possible and share your time in a special final ranking.
Despite the expectations of some fans, Days Gone 2 was not discussed at State of Play. The game director of Days Gone previously said that extension is out of the question and the development information is «empty».
For owners of the game on PS4 and PC, the remastered version will cost $10, and on PS5 — $50. The survival horror action adventure from Bend Studio will launch on April 25.
