Xiaomi has released a new version of its RedmiBook Pro laptop equipped with Intel Arrow Lake-H processors and a 16:10 IPS display, which, at least in terms of specifications, looks very promising.
In the maximum configuration, the Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 16 laptop received an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor combined with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8400 RAM and a 1 TB drive. The processor has 16 physical cores and demonstrates up to 30% performance gain in multi-threaded tests compared to its predecessor, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. The laptop does not have a discrete graphics card, but the integrated Intel Arc 140T graphics can compete with Radeon 890M in terms of performance. Cooling is provided by two fans.
The 16-inch display is based on an IPS panel with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz and provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The RedmiBook Pro 16 has a considerable set of interfaces, including two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, an audio jack, and an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port (essentially HDMI 2.0). The device also has a 1080p webcam, two 2W speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless modules. The battery capacity is 99 Wh, and the manufacturer promises up to 30 hours of battery life (versus 27.7 hours for its predecessor). At the same time, the weight is 1.88 kg. A 140W GaN charger is included in the package.
The base version of the Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 16 with Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, 32 GB of memory, and a 1 TB SSD costs $715, and the version with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H chip costs $825. The laptop will go on sale in China in the near future. There is no official data on the international release yet. But given that previous versions of RedmiBook have appeared on the global market, this scenario is quite possible.
Last month, Xiaomi introduced the RedmiBook (2025) laptops with Intel Core 5-220H, offering 19 hours of battery life at a lower price.
