Zeekr, a premium electric vehicle brand owned by the Geely Group, has introduced a new model in its lineup. According to the Chinese regulator, the upcoming Zeekr 007 GT station wagon will have a range of up to 825 km on a single charge. This is an impressive figure, even if we take into account that the CLTC (China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle) figures are often slightly overestimated in real-world conditions.
The Zeekr 007 GT electric station wagon is built on the PMA2+ platform, which is derived from the SEA modular architecture. This platform was developed by Zeekr Technology Europe in Sweden. It is also used in the Zeekr 007 model.
The Zeekr 007 GT is made in the Hidden Energy corporate style, characterized by smooth lines and minimalist shapes. The dimensions of the car are as follows:
- Length – 4864 mm
- Width – 1900 mm
- Height – 1445 mm
- Wheelbase – 2925 mm
The station wagon is equipped with wheels with a diameter of 19 or 20 inches. Unlike the Zeekr 007 sedan, which had a low ground clearance, the 007 GT model has an air suspension that improves comfort on uneven roads. In addition, the car can be equipped with a towing hook, which will allow you to tow a trailer.

The electric vehicle is available in two versions. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) version has a single 310 kW (416 hp) electric motor. The all-wheel drive (AWD) version has an additional front electric motor with a capacity of 165 kW (221 hp), which provides a total output of 475 kW (637 hp).
A key feature of the Zeekr 007 GT is its advanced battery technology. The company offers two batteries to choose from. The base version is equipped with a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Golden Brick Battery. It was developed jointly by Zeekr and the Chinese manufacturer CATL. This battery is characterized by fast DC charging: thanks to the high-voltage 800-volt system, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. The top-of-the-line Zeekr 007 GT version has a 100 kWh battery made using NMC (nickel-manganese-cobalt) technology. It also operates on an 800-volt platform and is capable of replenishing a 610 km range in just 15 minutes, according to the manufacturer.
The official CLTC cycle range figures are shown in the following table.
Model | Battery | Power reserve according to CLTC |
---|---|---|
Zeekr 007 GT RWD | 75 kWh LFP | 650 km |
Zeekr 007 GT AWD | 75 kWh LFP | 585 km |
Zeekr 007 GT RWD | 100 kWh NMC | 825 km |
Zeekr 007 GT AWD | 100 kWh NMC | 730 km |
The Zeekr 007 GT will go on sale in China in the second quarter of this year. Shortly after that, the car will appear in Europe under the name Zeekr 7 GT.
As a reminder, Zeekr recently boasted that its 7X crossover can charge up to 80% in less than 10 minutes.
