In March, we noted the popularity of stories of the same genre — here, wherever you spit, you will hit a crime drama. It seems as if there is nothing else to film but serial killers, various criminal elements, investigations of bloody crimes, etc. So if this is not your genre, there is almost nothing to catch in March. The only standouts are the full-fledged return of Daredevil to the screens, although Marvel has almost no credibility left nowadays, and another comedy fling from Seth Rogen. It concerns the mysterious murder of Lady Tressilian, which took place in her home while her nephew — British tennis player Neville Strange, as well as his ex-wife and current wife, were staying there. «Towards Zero» is another adaptation of the novel of the same name by the English writer Agatha Christie, which was published in 1944.
«Daredevil: Born Again»

The blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen, Matt Murdock, is still fighting for justice, while the former criminal mastermind Wilson Fisk continues his campaign for mayor of New York City. A new stage in the confrontation between the two eternal enemies is approaching.
After the excellent «Daredevil» series, which was broadcast on Netflix from 2015 to 2018 and had 3 seasons, Marvel is finally bringing its iconic character back to the screens, with Charlie Cox taking on the role again. We can also mention the character’s brief appearances in «Spider-Man: No Way Home», «She-Hulk: Attorney at Law», and «Echo», but these were insignificant appearances.
«The Leopard» / Il Gattopardo

The action takes place in nineteenth-century Sicily. It tells the story of a noble local nobleman, Don Fabrizio Corbera, and his family amidst historical and social upheaval. The classic novel of the same name by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa was once turned to by Luchino Visconti himself, and now it has been taken over by the raking paws of Netflix. We will find out what happened on March 5.

During the celebration of Holy Week in the Spanish town of Morón de la Frontera, Civil Guard Sergeant Lucia Gutiérrez investigates the unusual suicide of a neighbor and some strange events. Meanwhile, U.S. Army Special Agent Magali Castillo and Sergeant Andrew Taylor go to a military base near Morón to find out the whereabouts of a missing American soldier who is probably connected to the secret business of the air base’s senior officer — Colonel Seamus Hoopen. Soon, the heroes discover that the two investigations are connected and that the case is more complicated than they initially assumed.
The plot of this crime thriller is based on the novel of the same name by Sergio Sarria. This is the first Spanish-produced series for the Max streaming service.

Dope Thief

We return to Philadelphia. Two local friends, Ray and Manny, pose as DEA agents and rob small-time drug dealers who won’t go to the police anyway. Everything seems to be going smoothly for the pair of crooks, until they mistakenly target a target that is too big. The jackpot is a solid several hundred thousand dollars, but soon the friends have to face the consequences of their rash actions.
Another March crime drama and another adaptation of a novel, this time by Dennis Tafoya, published in 2009. The executive producer is Sir Ridley Scott. The lead roles are played by Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura, who, symbolically, previously played Pablo Escobar himself in the hit movie «Narcos».

The plot of this crime drama is based on the true story of the adoption of Ukrainian-American Natalia Grace by a couple Christine and Michael Barnett. Initially, the couple believed that Natalia was a child with dwarfism, but gradually the Barnetts questioned this fact, believing that the girl was much older than her age.
The lead roles went to Ellen Pompeo, the star of the long-running medical procedural «Grey’s Anatomy», and Mark Duplass, who you may have seen, for example, in the acclaimed «The Morning Show».
«The Residence»

The action takes place in the White House «upstairs, downstairs and behind the scenes». The eccentric detective Cordelia Kapp arrives at the building to solve a murder that took place during a government dinner. As the investigation progresses, interpersonal conflicts between the 157 employees of the residence begin to unfold.
The show’s script is inspired by the book «The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House» by American journalist and writer Kate Andersen Braver, which was ranked first on the New York Times nonfiction bestseller list. After the recent «Zero Day» Netflix is once again offering a storyline that touches on the backstage of the White House in one way or another.

At the age of 15, Melissa Jesperson-Moore learns that her father, Keith Hunter Jesperson, is a serial killer known as the «Happy Face Killer». He earned this nickname because in 1994 he wrote several letters to the newspaper «The Oregonian» and the Washington County District Court in which he confessed to committing murders and drew smiley faces.
The plot of the series is based, as you might guess, on real events and is inspired by Melissa Moore’s autobiography «Shattered Silence: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer’s Daughter», which was published in 2008 and also on her podcast «Happy Face» in 2018. Dennis Quaid was entrusted with the role of the brutal murderer.
«Wolf King»

In a land once enslaved by werewolves, 16-year-old Drew Ferran realizes that he is the last of his werewolf bloodline. The young man must overthrow the tyrannical rule and reclaim the throne as the rightful king of the wolves. The animated series is based on the «Wereworld» series of novels by British illustrator and writer Curtis Jobling.

Matt Remick — is the newly appointed head of the fictional movie studio Continental Studios. He tries to save the company, which is failing at a time when the industry is undergoing rapid social and economic change.
A new comedy show starring Seth Rogen (who also co-created the project) dilutes the gloomy March repertoire with something fun. Rogen is accompanied by Catherine O’Gara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sue Wanders.
At the same time, there will be an exorbitant number of short guest appearances by famous actors and directors. Beware, the star power of the names may make you dizzy — Bryan Cranston, Rebecca Hall, Paul Dano, Rogen’s old friend from the comedy set «Neighbors» Zac Efron, Rogen’s old friend from the set of «Long Shot» Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz, Anthony Mackie, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Adam Scott, Johnny Knoxville, Josh Hutcherson, Ron Howard, Peter Berg. And even Martin Scorsese himself did not disdain to appear alongside the witch Agatha and the current Captain America in this frivolous show.

The next March crime drama tells the story of two generations of London gangsters and the fixer who solves their problems. Initially, the project was conceived as a spinoff of the «Ray Donovan» series, but eventually turned into an independent story. Guy Ritchie directed several episodes, and the audience will see Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan in the movie.

«Gangs of London» tells the story of the struggle between rival gangs and other criminal organizations in modern London. The series is based on the action-adventure video game of the same name, which was developed by London Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PSP in 2006. It is the third installment of the «Getaway» game series after «The Getaway» (2002) and «Black Monday» (2004).
The film adaptation is being made by Gareth Evans, director of both «Raids» and the upcoming «Havoc» with Tom Hardy (premiering soon — April 25), and Matt Flannery, who worked as a cinematographer in the aforementioned Evans action films.
«Bosch: Legacy»

Also, the third season of the Amazon series «Bosch», which told the story of LAPD detective Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, and had 7 seasons, aired on Prime Video from 2014 to 2021, is now in its third season
The plot of the series is based on a series of detective novels about Harry Bosch by American writer Michael Connelly, but it is not yet known for certain which books this season will be based on. However, it is known for sure that it will be the last one and will complete the more than ten-year on-screen story of the titular character.
