Listings of new Asus laptops with NVIDIA RTX 5090 and other Blackwell graphics cards have popped up in documents from several retailers.
Asus is prepping several laptop models with NVIDIA RTX 50xx graphics cards. From the descriptions of new laptops, it’s clear that the manufacturer is working on laptops with Arrow Lake HX and H processors, as well as based on AMD Strix Halo. It looks like ASUS is set to offer one of the most versatile line-ups next year.
The Asus ROG Strix G835 will be powered by a Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, 64 GB of DDR5 memory, and the flagship next-generation NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card. It will feature an 18” QXGA display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
The ROG Zephyrus GU605 will be available with a Core Ultra 9 285H processor, 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 16” QXGA OLED display. It offers graphics options including RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti. The documents do not directly mention the marketing names of the graphics adapters. However, NVIDIA’s internal codenames such as GN22 and identifiers like X11 are used. The GN22-X1 chip is known as the RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, while GN22-X9 corresponds to RTX 5080. The identifier GN22-X7 belongs to RTX 5070 Ti.
