Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PS5 in April — release date and prices

The wait is over — Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has finally received a release date on PlayStation 5.

Due out in December 2024, the game from Bethesda and MachineGames was originally only available for Xbox and PC. But It has long been said that Microsoft is preparing a port for the PlayStation 5. And now it’s official: the game will be released on PS5 in April 2025.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — is a new action-adventure game from MachineGames, which created the modern Wolfenstein. Players take on the role of the legendary archaeologist Indiana Jones and go in search of a mysterious artifact associated with an ancient civilization. On the way, there are a lot of puzzles, dangerous enemies, and the real atmosphere of classic movies. The game has received high marks for its gameplay, high-quality story, and visual stylization of the 30s. Now PS5 owners will also be able to appreciate it.

The archaeologist game, which was originally released on Xbox and PC back in December, will be available on PS5 on April 17, 2025. And if you can’t wait to experience the adventures of Indiana Jones on Sony’s console, the premium edition will allow you to start playing two days earlier — on April 15.

What do you know about the editions and prices?

All those who pre-order will receive a bonus set «The Last Crusade». It includes a traveler’s suit (gray suit with a blue tie) and a lion tamer’s whip (black whip with a red handle). Bethesda will release three versions of the game in total:

• Standard edition — ₴2199
• Premium editions — ₴2999
• Collector’s Edition (Ultimate Edition) — no price, but it cost $189.99 on Xbox (unlikely to be available in Ukraine)

The premium edition adds a few more exclusive bonuses, namely the storyline DLC «The Order of Giants», which will be available after the release, and two days of early access to the game. Players will also receive a digital art book with concept art for the game and a Temple of Doom costume (a vest in the style of the movie «Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom»).

The Ultimate Edition also offers a replica of the Allmaker artifact (which is important in the game) and a New Adventure Journal for your own notes. The Collector’s Edition also includes a Steelbook case and a globe with a secret compartment (ideal for storing artifacts or, say, a minibar). It will be available only in a physical format and, most likely, in a limited edition.

The game is already available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store. Physical copies will go on sale in the coming days.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was an Xbox and PC exclusive, so its release on PS5 is part of Microsoft’s new strategy. The game is another among the titles that were previously only available on Xbox but are now appearing on PlayStation. Before that, the Sony console received Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves and soon to be released Forza Horizon 5 and Doom: The Dark Ages.
