The mobile NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics card also outpaces the RTX 4070 and even the desktop RTX 4060 Ti, boasting a significantly lower TDP.
Screenshot, published on the Chinese social network Bilibili, indicates that the RTX 5060 graphics card for next-generation laptops scores 13,821 points in the 3DMark Time Spy graphic test. The result confirms that NVIDIA maintains a performance gap of about 30% over previous mobile GPUs. Specifically, it represents a 32.5% improvement over the RTX 5060 and performs 10% better than the RTX 4070.

Interestingly, the test result is higher than that of the RTX 4060 Ti for desktop PCs, with radically lower power consumption. Rumor has it, the graphics card, labeled GN22 Board2 has a maximum TDP of 115 watts, whereas the full-fledged RTX 4060 Ti has a 165-watt limit.
The launch of the NVIDIA RTX 50xx series is expected at CES 2025, as hinted by the company itself and leaks from graphics card and laptop manufacturers. The release of the RTX 5060 is expected in either the second or third quarter of 2025.

Previous tests in 3DMark are usually not very reliable. But since the launch of NVIDIA’s new generation of graphics cards is not far off, it’s likely that versions of hardware and software close to the final products were used.
