In September, Ukrainians received UAH 37.2 million in payments under the «National Cashback» program. The Ministry of Economy analyzed how the recipients of the payments used these funds.
It is noted that approximately 20% of recipients used the funds received. At the same time, about half of the users used the funds to top up their mobile phones, and 35% paid for utilities. The remaining participants paid for internet, transportation and catering services. According to the current terms of the program, National Cashback funds can only be spent on services.
In total, about 120 thousand people have made payments with the National Cashback card, while more than 500 thousand users still have funds on their accounts. In September, UAH 37.2 million of cashback was paid out, with the average amount of payments per person amounting to approximately UAH 57.5. Probably, the small amount of accruals limits the possibility of using the funds.
The National Cashback Program is aimed at supporting the purchase of Ukrainian goods. After the test period, it has shown an increase in popularity Three times more funds accumulated in October — about UAH 125 million, which is scheduled to be disbursed by the end of November. In the first half of November, even more funds were accumulated, and the number of cards opened for participation in the program increased to 4.2 million.
Currently, the National Cashback program is available for more than 320 thousand Ukrainian goods from 1580 manufacturers, and information about cashback products can be found using the barcode scanner in the «Diia» app. Cashback payments for October will be made in November, for November — in December, and for December — in February 2025.
To join the program, you need to apply through a partner bank, select cards for participation, open access to card transactions, open a National Cashback card and activate it in «Actions» for payments.
