Xiaomi has recently updated the Poco X series with 2025 smartphone models, and the next in line is the flagship F series. The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra smartphones have already been certified for sale, which allowed us to reveal the characteristics of these devices.
According to rumors, the Poco F7 Pro (model number 24117RK2CG) is the result of a rebranding of the Redmi K80. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. The device also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage, a dual camera on the back (50 MP main camera with OIS, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera) and a 20-megapixel front camera. Additionally, a 6550 mAh battery and support for 90W wired charging are reported.
Accordingly, the Poco F7 Ultra (model number 24122RKC7G) is a rebranding of the Redmi K80 Pro. This device has the same screen as the F7 Pro, but the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The camera on the back is already triple. It consists of a 50-megapixel main module with OIS, a 32-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, and a 50-megapixel telephoto module with 2.5x optical zoom. The front camera, as well as RAM and storage options, are the same as the F7 Pro. At the same time, the battery has a smaller capacity of 6000 mAh, but the smartphone supports more powerful wired charging (120 W) and wireless charging with a capacity of 50 W.
So far, there is no information about the base model of Poco F7. Perhaps the company will decide to release only Pro and Ultra this year, as these suffixes sound more attractive.
