Zotac-related source, statesNVIDIA RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards will require a 650W power supply and will be connected via an 8-pin connector.
According to VideoCardzPC owners won’t have to upgrade their power supply if it provides enough power. The RTX 5060 will have the same power connector as the RTX 4060, but the power supply requirement is 100W more than the previous generation graphics cards, which were recommended to run at 550W. This information contradicts an earlier report that all Blackwell cards will have a 12-pin connector.
According to preliminary data, NVIDIA RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti are expected to appear in March. If so, we should expect more information about them in the near future. At the same time, none of their characteristics have been officially announced yet, and there is no performance data available. From unofficial sources, we know that RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti will have 8 GB and 16 GB built-in memory. The leaker suggests that the new graphics cards will be more expensive than RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti. RTX 5060 will cost from $360 to $470. More powerful RTX 5060 Ti will be sold for $453-$494.
Website Tom`s Hardware explains that a 100W increase in the recommended power of a power supply means that the base power consumption will only increase by 50W. Thus, since the 4060 Ti has a TGP of 160W and the 4060 RTX — 115W, we can assume that for the 5060 Ti this value will be close to 250W and for the 5060 it will be — about 200W. Both of these values correspond to the capabilities of a single 8-pin connector.
