The flagship NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card was released six weeks ago, but has not yet become more accessible. On the contrary, it now costs about $3000.
As reported by VideoCardz and as you can see on the official store website Asus in the United States at the time of writing, the company has made another price increase for the RTX 5090. Interestingly, the most expensive ROG Astral LC model now costs $3409.99, which means that the price has not changed, but the rest have gone up.
For example, the air-cooled ASTRAL RTX 5090 OC is now $280 more expensive than it was a few days ago — $3359.99. At the time of the review, it was listed at $2800, which is already $800 more expensive than NVIDIA’s recommended price.
The TUF OC model, which is not the most premium, now costs $3000. MSI Afterburner users would be able to apply manual overclocking and save» $250 if they chose a model without OC. Also, this is a $250 price increase in recent days.
Asus Radeon RX 9070
AMD video cards are also rising in price «per company». The newly released Radeon RX 9070 XT is also listed at significantly higher prices than last week. The TUF OC model now costs $719.99, while the official price from AMD is $599. It’s worth noting that ASUS didn’t release any models without overclocking, which can formally justify the price.
