The flagship Xiaomi 15 Pro will be the eldest in the new lineup until the Ultra model is released later. It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite, three 50 MP cameras, and a 6100 mAh battery.
Xiaomi 15 Pro has a 6.73″ OLED screen with a resolution of 3200×1440. TCL CSOT’s M9 display reduces power consumption by 24% compared to Xiaomi 14 Pro. The screen has an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The touch sampling rate is 300 Hz, and the instantaneous sampling rate is up to 2560 Hz, making the screen extremely responsive. It has a maximum brightness of 3200 nits and is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0.
The phone is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which provide the fastest data transfer speeds. A wing-shaped cooling system with a heat dissipation area of 4053 mm² and Xiaomi HyperCore microarchitecture scheduler enhances the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The smartphone has three Leica cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony LYT900, 1/1.3″, f/1.44 aperture, OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (Samsung S5KJN1, f/2.2) and a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens (Sony IMX858, OIS). The latter offers 5x optical zoom and 10x lossless digital zoom, and provides UltraZOOM-20X mode for capturing more details. Clarity is aided by Xiaomi’s ultra-transparent ALD coating and specially tuned Leica optics for enhanced image clarity. The 32MP front camera has an OmniVision OV32B4 sensor.
The 6100 mAh battery has an energy density of 850 Wh/L and retains 80% of its capacity after 1600 cycles. It supports 90W wired fast charging and up to 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi Surge P3 and G1 chips improve charging efficiency and battery life.
Xiaomi 15 Pro has a Goodix Technology ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68 water and dust protection, Wi-Fi 7, stereo speakers, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps). It is available in three colors: Spruce Green, Rock Grey and White, and there is also a Bright Silver version. The phone costs from ~$742 for the 12GB / 256GB variant. The 16GB/512GB model costs ~$812, and the 16GB/1TB variant costs ~$910 plus about $28 for the Bright Silver edition.
