The most famous Elden Ring player was banned for six months for an absurd reason — he’s back

Elden Ring streamer Klein Tsuboi, known as Let Me Solo Her, was banned from the game for 180 days for something completely innocent and is now back.

Let Me Solo Her became famous for supporting others in the fight against one of the toughest opponents in the game — Malenia, and then Radan. He is known for his extraordinary ability to defeat bosses in the most extreme conditions, including with only a cauldron on his head. This image was memorable to fans and became one of the game’s memes.

Bans in Elden Ring are commonplace. Most often, they are punished for significantly facilitating the gameplay (importing game saves, buying illegal items, etc.). You can get banned for fashions that affect comfort multiplayer game, and it also has a somewhat strange attitude to humor.

Let Me Solo Her did something extremely scary from FromSoftware’s point of view: he installed a mod that adds a dance from Fortnite to the list of gestures and demonstrated it on one of the streams. For this, he was banned from the game for several months.

The reason for bans is usually the fight against cheaters — not very effective, according to the community. Players accuse the creators of a selective approach to cheats, as well as taking playful actions like dancing too seriously. From any point of view, a long banishment for something like this seems like overkill.

Another thing is that Fortnite does not evoke positive associations for everyone, and for many players, the famous dances that the winners perform in this battle royale are a symbol of kringle. Perhaps the creators are trying to preserve the image of Elden Ring as a serious, gloomy, and difficult game with no room for mischief.
