The first phone in the Motorola Edge 60 series with Moto AI «out of the box» has been released. The phone is already available in stores in Europe.
Edge 60 Fusion has a 6.67″ display with curved edges. The screen seamlessly flows into the bezel, and the bezel — into the back. The latter has a variety of relief options based on eco-leather and textiles with shades selected in collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute.
The P-OLED display has a frequency of 120 Hz, a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels (more, than its predecessor) and reaches a maximum brightness of 4500 nits for HDR content. DC Dimming at low brightness levels helps to avoid flicker from PWM. The screen supports 10-bit colors with 100% DCI-P3 and HDR10+ space coverage. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone is IP68/IP69 rated for dust and water resistance and can withstand submersion to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, as well as pressure jets. The display recognizes touches with wet fingers.
The Moto Edge 60 Fusion is powered by either the Dimensity 7300 or 7400 processors, depending on the region (with a slight difference between the chips). It is equipped with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Regional differences also extend to the battery — some devices will get 5200 mAh, others – 5500 mAh. Charging is via USB-C using a 68W TurboPower adapter (included in some countries, but not everywhere). Motorola promises only 8-9 minutes of charging for the whole day. The Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with 5G (SIM+SIM or SIM+eSIM), Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
The main camera has the same 50 MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor as the Edge 50 Fusion. The camera supports optical stabilization and Photo Enhancement Engine technology, which automatically adjusts photo settings depending on the scene. The 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera also takes macro shots and can focus at a distance of 3 cm. The selfie camera with a 32 MP sensor (0.7 micron pixels, four in one) is capable of recording 4K video.
Smartphone works on Android 15 with Moto AI artificial intelligence, whose capabilities include transcribing and summarizing audio, and Magic Canvas generates images based on text prompts. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is already available in Germany and Spain, where only the 12/256 GB model is available for €330, and in India, where it will start at €230.
