Judging by the reviews, it seems that most of the complaints come from people who have played the original games, while newcomers have been quite accepting of the sequel. Most of the dissatisfied people were irritated by the cast, where Bella Ramsay (Ellie) again came under the brunt of the attack, as her character allegedly looked even worse in the sequel.

«The teenager, now a girl, is even worse. Vana has the power to knock down a very strong man, to make her foster father act weak and stupid. And to make matters worse, she has the ability to conquer the only beautiful woman in the entire series in a place full of men. What else will she do in the next episodes? Help build a rocket to Mars? Ridiculous», — says one of the reviews.

Interestingly, despite previous criticisms, the reviews hardly mention Caitlin Deaver (Abby), whose choice was criticized for dissimilarity with the character from the game, in particular in physical terms. The actress herself stated that the showrunners cast her in the role without castingbecause we were sure that it would fit perfectly into the story.

«It feels like Druckmann (the showrunner) is just trying to troll the audience. Terrible miscast. The whole series lives only because of the original legacy from the game, and the second season is just an insult to the fans», — another review adds.

The series «The Last of Us» — is an adaptation of the post-apocalyptic games of The Last of Us series by Naughty Dog. The first season told the story of smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal), who is tasked with guiding teenager Ellie (Ramsay) through the regions of the United States devastated by a parasitic fungus pandemic. The second one takes place five years later and features the key characters from The Last of Us Part 2: in the first episode, we were introduced to the aforementioned Abby, played by Caitlin Deaver, who will track down Joel for revenge, and Dina (Isabela Merced), who is Ellie’s new love interest. The new horror trailer for the second season also teased the appearance of Isaac, whose role is dubbed on television by Jeffrey Wright.

The second episode of The Last of Us sequel is now available on Megogo with official Ukrainian dubbing, and the rest of the 7 episodes will be released every Monday. Previously, the series extended for the 3rd season ahead of schedule.
