Volkswagen ID.4 is the most popular Chinese car in Ukraine in 2024

Chinese cars are in increasing demand in Ukraine. In 2024, Ukrainians purchased almost 14.4 thousand cars imported to Ukraine from China. This is 18% more than in 2023.

Most of the cars imported from China were new – 11 thousand units or 76% of the total. In 2024, Ukrainians increased purchases of new cars from China by 37%. In total, in 2024, cars of Chinese origin accounted for 16% of the Ukrainian new car market.

At the same time, imports of used Chinese cars fell by 20% to 3.4 thousand units, or 24% of the total. In the segment of used cars that were registered in Ukraine for the first time, the share of cars from China was only 1.5%.

It is worth noting that the vast majority of passenger cars from China were electric vehicles – 82%.

2. Honda M-NV – 1279 units;
3. BYD Song Plus – 1062 units;
4. Nissan Ariya – 766 units;
5. Zeekr 001 – 703 units.

1. Volkswagen ID.4 – 635 units;
2. Nissan Ariya – 259 units;
3. Honda M-NV – 175 units;
4. Zeekr 001 – 175 units;
5. Honda eNS1 – 156 units.
