Unfortunately, during the war, Ukraine’s defenders are killed, captured, or go missing. Often, the invaders take advantage of the longing and despair of relatives of Ukrainian prisoners of war and send messages to the prisoners’ relatives with offers to pay money to «speed up» the exchange. Or they spread false information, imitating messages from the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
To protect the families of prisoners of war from misinformation, from now on, all notifications from the office of the Coordination Headquarters will also be sent to «Action».
How does it work?
When a person goes missing, relatives register a personal account on the Coordination Center’s website and file a missing persons report. «Action» will receive notifications from this account about the following events:
- the statement was confirmed
- information was added to the case
- a person was released from captivity
If a person was reported missing and then it was confirmed that he or she was captured, there will also be a corresponding notification in «Actions».
Users will receive notifications from the Coordination Center in «Action» automatically when the following conditions are met:
- authorization in «Actions»
- have a verified taxpayer card
- applications were submitted through the Personal Account of the Coordination Center.
